All pages are inked and sent to our fabulous colorist Mariam. We are a little behind schedule but we're so close. Thanks for your patience.

Hello backers,
Just a quick update. The last batch of 5 pages are penciled and ready for inking. Once done by end of the week, they'll be sent to Mariam for the digital coloring. That will mark the end phase of art production.
We have few more steps - lettering and proof before printing but we're close... so close.
I'll be sending more updates once artwork is finished. Thanks for your patience.

Surveys will be sent in a staggered schedule through out next week. Keep an eye out for the email via Backer Kit. We've set the lock date for survey submission for January 2023.
REMEBER for those in The Coded Delusion tier or higher: Submit your portrait photo by Friday Dec 2nd and a background Nexian in the big city panels of Audit #1 will be designed in your likeness. Instructions on how to send your photo can be found in the survey.
(If you don't make it by Dec 2nd, no need to worry. We still encourage you to send your photo and you'll definitely make a cameo appearance in future chapters.)
Apologies for the delay. We're working really hard to get all the final pieces together but we also want to take the time getting the print and final polish right, I promise it'll be very much worth the wait. Please help by filling out the survey as soon as possible and stay tuned for more updates.

This cover will be a wrap-around, with the left side being the front, the seam down the middle, and the right side being the back cover. The idea behind this cover... well, no spoilers:) Let just say there are more hints in the IG post with SYSL's character portrait.

You will get a link to a short questionnaires that will ask for your preferred email [to deliver digital rewards], your mailing address [to mail physical rewards] and for those backers at "The Coded Delusion" tier and above, it'll present options to send in your photo so I can design a unique NEXIAN denizen in your likeness to be featured as an extra in THIS CHAPTER!
The last few work-in-progress pages will feature wide angles of the crowded streets of New Nexus City. I want to fill those streets with Nexian versions of all you lovely backers! Please keep a look out in your inbox for surveys from Backerkit. Sending in your photo will be time sensitive.
Now for the bad news :(
Unfortunately, fulfillment might need to get pushed back to late January. We feel the extra couple of weeks will give us the opportunity to deliver an even better, highly-polished final product. I'll send another big update detailing the new schedule, but I wanted to give you the heads up.

Its been a while since the last update, so I wanted to showcase something special.
AfroPunk Variant Cover by Micah Blacklight!
The concept was to illustrate SYSL peeling back the "skin suit" off her robotic body. Micah nailed it with this mind blowing pose showing off the skin suit in all of its muscular mech glory contrasted against SYSL's metallic plating. The skin suit is heavily featured in Audit 1 and if you haven't already, you can check it out here in the free prologue.
This will be a wrap around image with the book spline going down the center. Right side is front cover and left side is back cover.

We're also 9 pages away from finishing this first 48-page issue. It's actually looking like we'll be closer to ~54 pages after we add all the behind the scenes content showing how the pages/writing/art came together.
